Conversations with Michel

This remarkable collection of conversations with French pianist Michel Petrucianni came down on two extraordinary afternoons, separated by many months and thousands of miles. The first conversation was held in a recording studio on lower Broadway in New York in 1988 where he and I discussed his remarkable musical and personal path. The second conversation took place three years later in Paris, where he and Bob Malach gave four tour-de-force performances of his original composition “My Bebop Tune” and several other jazz standards. Story telling at its best.
